Smartphone walks for seniors

A smartphone photowalk is a leisurely walk (usually in a city, village or your local neighborhood ) where participants take photos of interesting scenes, objects, or moments using their smartphones.

The smartphone guided photo walks are aimed at at you to take better photographs with your smartphone.

You will be introduced to some basic photographic composition rules along with the main photography functions of your phone and some basic editing techniques.

It will be taught on an Samsung phone. However, both iPhone users as well as Android smartphone users are welcome with any models of phones.

At the end of the Photo walks you will be able to:

- demonstrate a critical understanding of the basic principles of Smartphone Photography.

- demonstrate a practical engagement with smartphone photography by taking your own photographs

- critically reflect on the making of your own images and discuss the making process.

What to bring

- your phone with a fully charged battery.

- a Wi-Fi connection.

- a power bank if you have one.

-enthusiasm and willingness to have a go and enjoy the day!

- warm / waterproof clothing and comfortable foot wear.

The Photo walk will last about 75 minutes - £12.50p per person.
